About Me
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”
Matthew 5:4
I received a bachelor’s degree in 1999 from The Pennsylvania State University in Human Development and Family Studies and then went on to receive a master’s degree in 2004 in Counseling and Psychology from Troy State University. I have worked in multiple sites and with diverse populations to include a residential home for children, a community mental health agency, a drug court and foster care agency. I have counseled the homeless of Baltimore as well as those who came to me in my private practice. I truly loved serving each of these populations and learned a lot about how to understand the human person and facilitate change in people’s lives.
Who I Work With
It is my great delight to work with:
seminarians
clergy
men and women who are considering a religious vocation
issues of grief and loss
depression
anxiety
addiction
family conflict
those who are post-abortive
those dealing with the pain of miscarriage
I started Hope and Healing Counseling in 2021. Though I enjoy working with people of all faiths and cultural backgrounds, I am a practicing Catholic and am happy to incorporate faith into the therapy process for those people interested in this path to change. I offer Board-approved clinical supervision for those working towards clinical hours for their LCPC and offer clinical consultation.
I look forward to meeting with you and am happy to answer any questions you may have about my professional background or the therapy process to determine if I am the best clinician to meet your needs.
